An emotional thriller based on a medical road tour from Mumbai to Pune, this movie is inspired from the real events that happened in Chennai.
Traffic is based on the true story of 2009 when police faced an impossible mission of transporting heart through road. It is a story of a young boy of about 21 years who has just met with an accident and of another girl who urgently needs heart. The boy is critical and his heart needs to be taken out before he dies and the heart needs to be transplanted to the girl of 12 years at the earliest. A lot of obstacles come his way like changing path, losing connection with the headquarter, one criminal on board. Yet he wouldn’t budge and rushes ahead to create history. Directed by late Mr. Rajesh Pillai, this movie is a drama thriller, and keeps the audience glued to their seats till the end. Cast of the movie includes Manoj Bajpai, Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Amol Parashar, Sachin Khedekar, Kitu Gidwani & Vikram Gokhale.
